Does my student need to have access to a computer to attend?

Yes. Indiana Gateway Digital Academy (INGDA) students are provided a computer upon enrollment. These computer systems are instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. If a family does not wish to receive a computer, they can decline. INGDA arranges for technical support and troubleshooting. Each family secures their own internet service provider.

What computer skills are required?

Does my student need high speed internet access to attend?

No. Although high-speed internet access definitely makes the experience of learning online much more satisfying, it is not absolutely necessary. Some geographic areas unfortunately do not have high-speed access available. However, for those areas that do, it is the preferred type of access for the program.
