Enrollment and Attendance FAQs

Who is eligible to attend Indiana Gateway Digital Academy (INGDA)?

Any student in grades K–12 who resides in Indiana is eligible for full-time enrollment.

How many of my children can I enroll?

What does it cost to attend INGDA?

Because INGDA is an online public school program of the Clarksville Community School Corporation, there is no tuition. We provide Indiana-licensed teachers and instructional materials. Families are responsible to provide some common household materials (such as printer ink and paper). Our enrollment consultants can help address your technological and computer questions and needs.

What is the attendance policy?

Will there be an orientation?

All students are required to attend an orientation session the first day of school.   Parents and Learning Coaches have the option to attend a separate orientation or attend with their student on the first day.

How do my student and I communicate with INGDA?

Families must maintain regular communication with INGDA teachers. Students and Learning Coaches are required to check their email and phone messages daily. Teachers are required to respond to email and phone calls within in 24 hours.

Can our family take a vacation during the school year?

The school calendar includes holidays or vacation time. Whenever possible, family vacations should align with school vacation days. Parents are encouraged to contact their student’s teacher if they plan a vacation that does not coordinate with the school calendar.

Extended family travel, except during school vacation periods, requires written notification and approval by the head of school. This should be completed at least one week prior to the extended absence.

Does INGDA offer dual credit?

Will my student be able to participate in athletics?

INGDA currently has an Esports team that competes on a National Level. We are looking to expand to Iracing and Drone Racing leagues in the near future.
